Dilshoda Yergasheva: Industry lead for financial services

Dilshoda Yergasheva leads the financial services practice at Writer, working closely with heads of business divisions, marketing, and IT at financial institutions to help drive AI transformation.

A seasoned industry veteran, she has 15 years of experience as a portfolio manager and investment director at top hedge funds and investment management firms — including Wellington Management, Bridgewater Associates, and State Street Global Advisors. Yergasheva graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Applied Mathematics and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School.

“There’s such a tremendous opportunity in financial services,” Yergasheva explains. “When David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs is telling conference goers that his bankers are using generative AI to draft 95% of a S-1, it’s clear that this industry is embracing disruption.”

The addition of Yergasheva will strengthen our partnerships with financial institutions and automate mission-critical work in investment research, investment banking, wealth and asset management, and investor relations.

Ranjan Roy: Industry lead for retail

Ranjan Roy brings his extensive expertise in direct-to-consumer (D2C) activation, brand marketing, retail operations, and retail media to Writer. His addition will enable Writer to partner with retailers to scale AI solutions, from merchandising to store operations.

Before joining Writer, Roy served as SVP of strategy at Adore Me — a subsidiary of Victoria’s Secret — where he was a Writer customer and spearheaded initiatives focused on sustainability, content strategy, and brand marketing. Prior to Adore Me, Roy held various roles in media and technology, including running a content personalization start-up and serving as a director at the Financial Times.

“Having led at the intersection of retail, marketing, and technology, I am excited about the opportunity to help our retail customers transform how they engage with customers and grow their business,” Roy says. “Writer is positioned to be the end-to-end AI platform for retailers. As a former customer, the most impressive aspect of the Writer platform was the speed with which we could go from idea to fully operational. AI will transform every part of organizations, and I am incredibly excited to help shape the future of our industry.”

Kushala Silva: Industry lead for CPG

Kushala Silva is head of CPG at Writer, helping the CPG industry transform business-critical workflows across key functions like marketing, sales, product supply, and research and development (R&D).

Previously, he’s held executive and leadership roles at The Coca-Cola Company, Proctor & Gamble, Amazon, and Ericsson, where he’s led teams on transformational technologies and business transformation. Silva also previously led the CPG and retail business at VMware.

“I saw tremendous possibility with Writer’s end-to-end approach to AI that I have not seen in the marketplace to transform CPG,” he says. “I fell in love with the mission and vision and people of the company.”

Silva will help advance Writer for CPG and retail. He recently led our virtual office hours on how CPG brands are transforming product detail page workflows with generative AI.

“AI is helping brands get closer to our customers,” Silva says. “There is so much knowledge — in people’s heads, or stored in some system across the organization — that if harnessed better can arm marketers, brand managers, sales, product supply, and R&D to serve customers better, and gain the competitive edge.”

Divya Srungaram: Industry lead for healthcare solutions

As industry lead for healthcare at Writer, Divya Srungaram focuses on solutions that help health plans and providers drive operational efficiencies and ROI with agentic AI.

“The healthcare industry is overwhelmed with complexity,” Srungaram says. “The work Writer is doing will help alleviate so much of that burden and free up medical professionals to focus more on patient outcomes.”

Srungaram brings extensive experience from previous leadership roles at Allymar Health, Blue Health Intelligence, and Deloitte Consulting, where she built and scaled AI-driven healthcare solutions globally. Her work has focused on helping healthcare organizations implement disruptive models and developing AI and advanced analytics-driven products. Divya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Massey University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Srungaram decided to join Writer after seeing its end-to-end approach, domain-specific LLM, Palmyra Med, and agentic vision. Having worked in consulting, she saw how difficult it was for enterprises to build an AI tech stack and drive change independently.

Zayed Yasin, M.D: Industry lead for healthcare and life sciences

These four industry leads join Zayed Yasin, MD, our healthcare and life sciences lead. Yasin is a physician executive responsible for all of the healthcare and life science activities at Writer.

Prior to Writer, he built and led clinical product and care teams for multiple VC-backed healthcare and technology companies across digital health and value-based care and consulted on technology-based transformation in healthcare for multiple global health systems. Yasin is a board-certified Emergency Medicine specialist, trained at Harvard Medical School and Yale-New Haven Hospital.

“I joined Writer because I saw they had the technology, people, and culture to change healthcare — at scale,” he says.
