Academy Terms of Use

Welcome to WRITER’s AI Academy! This is a space to build your AI expertise with courses, quick tips, and on-demand training. These WRITER Academy Terms of Use (“Terms”) along with WRITER’s Privacy Policy apply to you when you access our Academy.

When you access our Academy, we may collect personal information associated with how you interact with our Academy, such as your name and email address along with course content you choose to take and the time you spend completing courses, and we process and protect that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our Academy is powered by Skilljar, a learning management system that hosts our training and educational content, and we have agreements in place with Skilljar that likewise help safeguard that information.

When you access our Academy, you are not permitted to:

• Upload, share, or link to any malware, viruses, or other harmful technology, including technology that unlawfully accesses information owned by WRITER or any third party
• Engage in abusive, offensive, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racist, bigoted, threatening, harassing, or defamatory behavior or in any manner that violates any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Share content that infringes on third party intellectual property rights
• Impersonate any person, organization, or a WRITER employee
• Access the Academy in order to build a similar or competitive product or service
• Do anything that would violate the spirit of these Terms

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or delete any Academy content at any time, and/or suspend or terminate your participation in our Academy and otherwise take any action we deem necessary if we determine you to be in violation of these Terms.

We also may modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Academy needs. Any revisions to these Terms will become effective on the date we publish the change. Your continued participation in our Academy after those changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue your use of our Academy.

Finally, you must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to access our Academy.
