Credit terms
These credit terms (“Credit Terms”) are an agreement between you or the organization or company you represent (“Customer”) and Writer, Inc. (“Writer”) and govern your purchase, receipt, or use of any credit(s) redeemable for certain services we make available (the “Services”). All capitalized terms used in these Credit Terms but not defined will have the meaning set forth in the agreement between Writer and Customer governing your use of the Services (the “Agreement”).
1. Credits. Writer’s Platform operates on a usage-based pricing model, under which Customer’s usage is measured and billed in accordance with the usage and pricing rates published at https://dev.writer.com/home/pricing. Credits may be purchased in advance to apply toward usage (“Credits”). Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, may be used only in connection with use of the platform, and have no cash value. Writer may also, in its sole discretion, offer Customer free credits as part of a promotion or during sign-up for the Services (“Promotional Credits”).
2. Expiration. If you are on a monthly subscription plan, your Credits expire at the end of each month of your plan. If you are on an annual subscription plan, your Credits expire at the end of your annual subscription period. If you choose not to renew your subscription or your access to the Services is otherwise terminated, your Credits will automatically expire on the earlier of (a) the end of your applicable subscription period or (b) the date your access to the Services is terminated.
3. Credit Balance. Customer may view its Credit balance in its Writer account. Your Credit balance is not a bank account, digital wallet, stored value account, or other payment device. Customer may have the option to automatically reload Credits on its account. In such instances, Customer authorizes Writer to charge the payment method designated in Customer’s account on a recurring basis for the applicable fees and taxes for the amount of Credits added to Customer’s account, until Customer cancels such recurring purchases. For Credits added to Customer’s account as part of any purchase, if applicable, Customer will be charged on or around the day on which the Credits are added to Customer’s account.
4. Reservation of Rights. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your use of the Services in accordance with the Agreement, including suspending or terminating your Credit balance, in compliance with applicable law. We may modify these Credit Terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website, by emailing the email associated with your account, or by providing you with notice as required by applicable law. The modified Credit Terms will become effective upon posting or, if we notify you by email or through our Services, as stated in such notice. By receiving or using any Credits after the effective date of any modification to these Credit Terms, you agree to be bound by the updated Credit Terms.
